PROCESSING APPLICATIONS |
Cutting: P&G BOND aluminium composite panels can be cut by
vertical panel saw, circular saw or jigsaw. 2-4 mm thick jags are
recommended.
Circular Bending: P&G BOND aluminium composite panels
can be bended by circular bending machines. Veneer cylanders
without jags or any other distorted parts should be prefered
during bending process to protect the panel's surface veneer
Opening Holes via Drills: P&G BOND aluminium composite
panels can be drilled by drillers with spiral, steel and centerpointed
ends and high-speed drilling machines.
Screwing: Please use stainless-steel screws special for machines
or conventional wooden metal sheets. Apply the panels on the
outer surfaces of the buildings in such a way that thermal
expansion can easily occur and the building itself can freely
move in case of an outside force.
Outer Surface Cutting: P&G BOND aluminium composite
panels can be cut by a milling machine, a copy router machine
or a jigsaw to be shaped.
Bending: It is possible to bend P&G BOND aluminium
composite panels by bending & folding table or bending press.
The minimum inner radius should be r= 10 x t (panel thickness).
Please use tapes made of rubber during bending process to
protect the surface veneer of the panel.
Punching: P&G BOND aluminium composite panels can be
punched by conventional metal sheet tabulating machines and
hand staplers. For clean-cut surfaces and edges, sharp tools in
minimal cutting level should be wielded.
Shearing: Shearing can be performed via guillotine. To protect
the surface against getting scratched and damage, please use
bottom holders, and protective cushions inbetween the surfaces
and adjust them to the minimum pressure level. Do not use
point reinforcements since they will damage the surface of the
panel. A slight chamfer may be formed on the sheared edge of
the panel.
Clinching: Clinching can be performed by sharp or blunt
conventional clinching tools. Apply the panels on the outer
surfaces of the buildings in such a way that thermal expansion
can easily occur and the building itself can freely move in case
of an outside force.
Interlocking: Please use recessed or projecting edge connectors
or straight leaning parts or specific aluminium components to
interlock the panels.
Welding: P&G BOND's plastic core can be welded by
conventional hot welding machine or plastic filling stick. Only
for decorative purpose should be the hot welding performed. It
is not appropriate for components for which structural force is
required.
Sticking: For outer use and structural applications:
*Components for glue sticking
*Double-sided VHB tapes
For inner applications:
*Glue for metal materials
*Double-sided VHB tapes
*Glue and mastic can not stick to the plastic structure. They
should be applied only on aluminium sheets.
